Wrestling in Prayer

Devotional for Monday, February 26, 2018
This devotional is brought to you by Pacific Press® Publishing Association.

While many profess to believe in prayer, it is only the man or woman who has a personal relationship with Christ who will go into the private prayer closet, where no one sees, and shut the door - wrestling with the tenacity of Jacob, Joshua, Esther, and Moses, saying, "I will not let go until You bless me. I'm willing to wrestle through the night if that's what it takes. I know You care about souls. You've asked me to care. I'm not going to stop praying until You work!"

These men and women can wrestle and pray passionately because they know God's heart personally and have come to trust His Word implicitly and unwaveringly. Because they know Him personally, the Holy Spirit inspires their prayers.
