The world is suffering from a severe loss of confidence in society and its institutions--government, the family, organized religion--everything seems to be on the brink of total collapse, a total blur. It is endemic and pandemic. This is the age of cynicism and doubt. We need as never before a robust doctrine of church, and it begins with God--a God who is in control. We will get nowhere until we face the issue of God. His place and position, who He is, and how He operates. Is He worthy of all praise?
The only hope of an out-of-control planet, crashing into oblivion, is God--first and above all, we must see Him. First and before all, He is the un-imaged, unseen God. Not a superman or an improved human. We must get this right; everything depends on our view of God--everything! To be foggy here is fatal. "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." (John 17:3).
