Kim Allan Johnson was raised on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. After becoming a Seventh-day Adventist in 1968, he received a bachelor’s in theology from Atlantic Union College and a master of divinity degree from Andrews University Seminary. He then pastored for ten years in Massachusetts and Maine.
In 1982, Kim chose to attend the University of Southern Maine Business College and became the Associate Treasurer of the Northern New England Conference. He is currently the undertreasurer of the Florida Conference. Kim has been a speaker and seminar presenter in churches and campmeetings throughout the United States. He has also authored two bestselling books published by Pacific Press, The Gift and The Morning, as well as Spiritual Body Building, published by the General Conference Ministerial Association.
Kim and his wife, Ann, enjoy hiking, kayaking, and attending concerts. They have one grown daughter. Kim says one interesting thing about him is that he was baptized twice in three minutes—“once when I slipped and fell in and once when the pastor put me under.”
