When Swissair Flight 111 crashed in the ocean on September 2, 1998, the world of Dr. David Wilkins and his wife, Janet, came crashing to a halt. Their son was on that flight and there were no survivors. This is their story.

David Wilkins, M.D.
Before retiring, Dr. David Wilkins was the Ophthalmology Department chairman at Loma Linda University and ran the Ophthalmology residency training program for nearly ten years. He holds a Doctor of Medicine Degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and was in private practice in Ophthalmology in Montana for thirteen years before joining the LLU faculty in 1987. He loves all outdoor activities and his burden for sharing Jesus Christ has led him to participate in evangelistic meetings in Kenya.

Wilkins has co-written with Cecil Murphey the amazing story of losing his son in the Swissair 111 crash in 1998 over Nova Scotia. He shares the pain of their loss and the story of Godís restoration in their lives.
