Patricia Garey is a woman of ‘a certain age’ who has come to the realization that beautiful women come in every size, shape and color. Recognizing that the range of beautiful and attractive women far exceeds popular cultures limited standards has caused Patricia to re-examine her own assumptions and develop a new perspective on personal beauty.
Garey has over fifteen years experience as a career consultant assisting executives and professionals from a wide range of backgrounds in achieving their goals. She has observed that a sense of personal loveliness far outstrips conventional beauty in both personal and professional venues. “Women who have happily come to terms with their own unique look and style are compellingly attractive,” she asserts, “while women who allow popular culture to define their standard of beauty often develop a highly toxic self-image which prevents them from recognizing their own inherent charm.”
Garey is a dynamic and engaging motivational speaker focused on helping individuals achieve their full potential. Her workshops include REAL WOMEN DON’T LOOK LIKE BARBIE, FINDING YOUR WINGS, and TRUE PASSION/REAL LEADERSHIP.
Garey and her husband Richard realized a life long dream in the summer of 2003 when they purchased the Planters Barn Theater in Hannibal, Missouri. Richard is director of Heritage Stage Productions, a National Heritage Foundation, which produces MARK TWAIN HIMSELF during the summer season and a variety of other dramatic productions throughout the year.
They are enjoying watching their five amazing children bring wonderful spouses, adorable grandchildren and fascinating new careers into their lives.
