Breve Declaración de Estándares

Pacific Press® Specialty Printing aceptará solo trabajos que, tanto en texto como en ilustraciones, estén en armonía con los estándares cristianos de Pacific Press® y su organización matriz: la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día. Tales estándares incluyen, pero no están limitados a, lo siguiente:

  1. Sin alcohol, tabaco, drogas recreativas, bebidas con cafeína o carnes bíblicamente sucias.
  2. Sin joyas ni ropa inmodesta.
  3. No hay películas, bailes, juegos de azar o actividad sexualmente sugestiva, explícita o implícita.
  4. Sin maldiciones ni lenguaje obsceno o vulgar.

Brief Statement of Standards

Pacific Press® Specialty Printing will accept only jobs that in both text and illustrations are in harmony with the Christian standards held by Pacific Press® and its parent organization—the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Such standards include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. No alcohol, tobacco, recreational drugs, caffeinated beverages, or biblically unclean meats.
  2. No jewelry or immodest clothing.
  3. No dancing, gambling, or sexually suggestive activity—explicit or implied.
  4. No cursing or obscene or vulgar language.

Compromiso para Trabajos

Todos los compromisos para los trabajos que se producirán fuera del flujo normal de trabajo interno se realizarán a través del Director de Specialty Printing, quien se asegurará de que todos los trabajos se ajusten a la Breve declaración de estándares anterior. Otros departamentos de Pacific Press® no están autorizados a asumir compromisos para trabajos de impresión especializada.

Proceso de Revisión y Aprobación

  1. Antes de que se emita un número de trabajo para un trabajo de Impresión Especializada, y antes de que cualquier departamento le cobre tiempo, el Director de Impresión Especial revisará primero todos los trabajos. Si se considera que un trabajo es aceptable, el Director de Specialty Printing lo indicará al colocar un sello de aprobación en la copia o en la copia.
  2. Cualquier trabajo que contenga información teológica u otro asunto que pueda ser de interés para la Iglesia primero deberá ser revisado por el departamento de redacción antes de que se apruebe el trabajo o se emita un número de trabajo.
  3. Tanto Pacific Press® como el cliente deben acordar el cumplimiento de la Declaración de estándares para que se acepte un trabajo. El incumplimiento de la Declaración por parte del cliente se considerará un incumplimiento de contrato, liberando a Pacific Press® de cualquier obligación de completar la producción del trabajo.
  4. Si en algún momento Pacific Press® considera que un trabajo no es apto para la producción, se lo devolverá al cliente.

Commitment for Jobs

All commitments for jobs to be produced outside of normal in-house work flow shall be made through the director of Specialty Printing, who will insure that all such jobs adhere to the Brief Statement of Standards above. Other departments at Pacific Press® are not authorized to make commitments for Specialty Printing jobs.

Review and Approval Process

  1. Before a job number is issued for a Specialty Printing job, and before any department charges time to it, all such jobs shall first be reviewed by the director of Specialty Printing. If a job is judged to be acceptable, the director of Specialty Printing will so indicate by placing an approval stamp on the copy or paste-up.
  2. Any job containing theological information or other matter that might be of concern to the Church shall first be reviewed by the Editorial department before the job is approved or a job number is issued.
  3. Both Pacific Press® and the customer must agree on compliance with the Statement of Standards in order for a job to be accepted. Noncompliance with the Statement on the part of the customer will be deemed a breach of contract, releasing Pacific Press® from any obligation to complete production of the job.
  4. If at any time any job is judged by Pacific Press® to be unsuitable for production, it will be returned to the customer.
